2025 Stringtown Girls Basketball Preview – Presented by Stuteville Ford of Atoka

STRINGTOWN LADY TIGERS

Coach: Jake Dudley

Last Year  22-6

After narrowly missing the state tournament last season exiting in the Area tournament finals, the Lady Tigers are eager to punch their ticket to the State tournament this year bolstered by the return of four starters to the court. Experience will be a big advantage for Stringtown including the contributions of a pair of VYPE Top 100 nominees Josey Jones (5-8, Sr. F) and Mylee Viss (5-6 Sr. G) who each averaged 14 points per contest and are reuniting with Madelyn Viss (5-6, Sr. G) and Khaylee Boston (6-2, Jr. P) into the starting lineup joined by Annie Thompson (5-7, So. G), who was first player off the bench as a freshman.

“Josey and Mylee are both four year starters and bring a high level of energy and determination to practice as well as games,” said head coach Jake Dudley who enters his sixth season at the helm. “Josey will always be the toughest kid on the court and Mylee is definitely a game changer whose decision making and confidence make her a tough challenge for our opponents.”

Depth combined with basketball skills will be a plus for Dudley including the efforts of Kambree Boyett (5-3, Fr. G), Larusia Lansdale (5-3, So. G), Roslyn Reese (5-8, Fr. F), Hayli Harper (5-6, Fr. G) and Alexis Walphall (5-5, Fr. C).

“Competitive and tough is our approach with a game plan to train with purpose to build the habits that will show up under pressure,” said Dudley
