

VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
Kreed: I like that I can go out and represent my school by competing but also represent them by my attitude towards others and the way I handle myself.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Kreed: I don’t really have just one teammate, all of my past teammates have had such great qualities about them it is hard to choose just one.
VYPE: What has been your favorite memory of playing?
Kreed: Staying in Marlow during the Marlow tournament and getting to hear all of Coach Gibbs’ stories and the music he enjoys.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about being on a team?
Kreed: The bond you grow with people you wouldn’t think you would talk to and the way we all have each other’s backs.
VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?
Kreed: It’s been a great way for me and my dad to bond. I fell in love with the game at a young age and kept that passion throughout my years of growing up.
VYPE: Who inspires you and why?
Kreed: My dad because he’s such a hard worker, he puts others before himself which really played a big part in how I am now. Even if he is having the worst day possible, if someone needs something he’s gonna go help them because that’s just the person he is and I’m glad I grew up with him as my dad.
VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
Kreed: “It’s not about the bad games you have, it’s about what you do after those games that represent you as a player and a person”.
VYPE: Are you involved in any other activities?
Kreed: I’m an active member of the National Honor Society. I am also in the Business Professionals of America and Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?
Kreed: I’m choosing any type of beach, and I’m bringing my boys with me so we can spend some time together before we all part ways.
