Q&A with Coalgate’s Cade Cometti – Presented by Safeguard Insurance Solutions and Cash First

VYPE: What has been your favorite memory of playing?

Cade: My favorite memory of playing baseball would probably be when we went to Broken Bow in my sophomore year to play in a tournament. We had a good group of seniors and it was just a fun experience.

VYPE: Why are you passionate about your sport?

Cade: I am passionate about my sport because I look up to the people who have played before me and that have given me something to work for.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Cade: Gavin Blue has probably left the biggest impression on me as a teammate. He was and still is like a brother to me and always picked me up when something bad happened on and off the field.

VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?

Cade: The best part about representing my school as an athlete is that a lot of people look up to you like the younger kids and I want to set a good example for them and set a good example for Coalgate when we go play other places.

VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to and why?

Cade: There isn’t just one single professional athlete I look up t. I look up to all of them because they have put in the work and have been dedicated to what they do and have done the right things.

VYPE: Who inspires you and why?

Cade: My dad inspires me the most because he can figure almost any problem or situation out and he is very hardworking.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?

Cade: My favorite teacher is probably Mrs. Penny.  She is easygoing and understands things that most teachers wouldn’t.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Cade: I would go to Turks and Caicos islands because I like the beach and I would probably take my family.

VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?

Cade: My all-time favorite meal is my grandma’s chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes.
