OUTLOOK

The Tushka Lady Tigers are ready to take on the new season under the steady leadership of head coach Lori Ford, who enters her 12th year at the helm of the program. After graduating several key players, Ford’s focus is on blending experienced upperclassmen with a promising group of young talent. “Lady Tigers graduated several key players from last season,” Ford said. “Our upper classmen played a lot of minutes last year and will lead our team this season. We will play with several young players this year that will fill a lot of roles throughout the season. Excited to see what my team accomplishes this year!”

One of the leaders for Tushka this year will be senior guard Addi Karn (5-7, Sr.), who has been a cornerstone for the Lady Tigers throughout her high school career. “Addi is a quick, versatile guard,” Ford said. “She started for us throughout her HS career. Look for her to be one of our great team leaders this year. Great student/player on and off the court!”

In the paint, Hagyn Gossett (5-10, Sr.) and Kylie Lee (6-0, Jr.) give the Lady Tigers size and strength down low, while Riley Vessels (5-6, Sr.) provides perimeter scoring and veteran experience. Natalee Hill (5-0, Sr.) brings determination and resilience after overcoming a major setback. “Coming off knee injury/surgery, wasn’t for sure she would get to play this year,” said Ford. “Just released and ready to go to work for us. She has been involved in FFA and showing calves throughout HS. Glad she has been released and will be able to help us this year!”

Sophomore Reegan Reece (5-0, So.) is one of the underclassmen expected to make an impact early. “Reegan will fill a role on both ends of the floor for us this year,” Ford said. “Works hard on the floor and plays really aggressive.”

Another key member of the team is Makenna Pannell, who exemplifies leadership and character. “She’s a great role model both on and off the court,” Ford said. “The kind of teammate every team needs.”

With a balanced mix of leadership, experience, and emerging youth, coach Ford and the Lady Tigers are eager to compete and continue building the proud tradition of Tushka basketball.
