TUSHKA LADY TIGERS
GIRLS
Coach: LORI FORD
23-24 Record: 22-7
Coming off a strong 22-7 record in 2023, the Tushka Lady Tigers are ready to elevate their game for the new season. With a combination of seasoned leadership, promising underclassmen, and a team-first mentality, head coach Lori Ford feels confident her team is prepared for the challenges ahead.
A key contributor is senior Shyler Hurt (5-8, G, Sr.). A leader on and off the court, Hurt has been a cornerstone of Tushka’s success. “Shyler is a senior leader for the Lady Tigers. Last year, she led us in scoring and has started for us throughout her career. Great student and teammate,” coach Ford notes. Hurt’s presence and experience will be pivotal for Tushka this season.
Joining Hurt in the senior class are Bella Alberda (5-5, G, Sr.), Maggie Hunt (5-8, Forward, Sr.), and Zoe Meadows (5-8, G, Sr.), each bringing experience and grit. Hunt is known for her versatility and hustle on the court.
Junior guard Addi Karn (5-7, G, Jr.) has also made a name for herself. Her skill set and determination make her a critical part of the Lady Tigers’ strategy this year.
Tushka’s underclassmen are also poised to make an impact. At the center of this young talent is Kylie Lee (6-0, P, So.), a “future star” as Coach Ford describes her. “Kylie is only a sophomore in school, but she’s a freshman on the court,” Ford explained. “We look for her to play a lot of minutes and gain confidence which will make us better.”
Freshman Makenna Pannell (5-8, Fr.) is recognized for her work ethic and commitment. “Makenna does everything you ask and makes teammates around better with her character and work ethic. She finishes all task in the classroom, weight room and gym; she is accountable and reliable,” shared Ford. Pannell’s dedication is already making her an integral part of the Lady Tigers’ program.
The team also includes juniors Hagyn Gossett (5-10, P, Jr.), Natalee Hill (5-6, G, Jr.), Kyra Jones (5-8, G, Jr.), Mady Hauff (5-6, G, Jr.), Ryley Vessels (5-6, G, Jr.), and sophomore Sunni Cable (5-8, P, So.), all contributing to the team’s depth and adaptability. Freshmen Reegan Reece (5-7, G, Fr.), Tilly Reinbold (5-9, P, Fr.), Harlee Willis (5-5, G, Fr.), and Journey Sutton (5-4, G, So.) bring enthusiasm and energy, ensuring that the Lady Tigers have a bright future as they continue to develop and learn from their upperclassmen.
With a well-rounded roster and high expectations, coach Ford believes the Lady Tigers are ready to make a serious run this season.
