The loss of a great man is always cause for mourning and celebration. We at FCA
mourn the loss of Coach Will Robinson and his daughter CJ, while acknowledging his contributions and influence on those he encountered along the way.
Will is affectionately remembered as a genuinely nice guy. A coach who believed in his players until
they believed in themselves. Will inherited a 1-22 team at his alma mater Durant High School. He then proceeded to lead them to multiple winning seasons, region and area victories and had several players go on to play basketball at the collegiate level. His impact on the girls he coached will be felt long after the ball stops bouncing for them. Coach Rob’s accomplishments as a coach have etched his name in the record books, and more importantly his faith in God, has landed him in the book of life.
