2026 Kingston Redskins Football Preview – Presented by Kingston Pharmacy

KINGSTON REDSKINS
Coach: BRAD HILL
10-2

Kingston returns as a serious 3A contender after a 10-2 season, with head coach Brad Hill entering his fifth year and liking the balance and depth he sees along both lines. He says, “We are really excited about this upcoming season,” noting they “will have depth upfront on both sides of the ball” and “return some really explosive receivers” while being “excited about our young running backs.” Defensively, Hill acknowledges there will be “some new faces,” but he points to a “really good offseason” and strong start to summer strength and conditioning as signs the Redskins are ready to reload rather than rebuild.
On offense, Kingston will continue to spread defenses out and get the ball to playmakers in space. Hill labels the scheme “spread offense – get the ball to playmakers in space,” a philosophy well-suited to a skill group that returns six starters. Senior receiver Kayden Fenwick (5-10, 160) is a proven go to target after catching 44 passes for 749 yards and 10 touchdowns, and senior H back/receiver Ty Jones (6-2, 200) added 18 catches for 307 yards and seven scores. Senior slot Jaksyn Martin (5-8, 145) contributed 337 total yards and two touchdowns, while senior quarterback Ethan Mowles (5-10, 180) rushed 29 times for 286 yards and four scores and junior running back Kelly Gray (5-9, 175) logged 29 carries for 267 yards and three touchdowns. Up front, senior tackle Blane Henry (6-3, 265), a four-year OL starter and VYPE Top 100 nominee with multiple Division II offers, anchors a line Hill says will be a strength. With that mix of veteran linemen and explosive receivers, Kingston expects to play fast, spread the field and attack matchups through the air and on the ground.
Defensively, the Redskins will base out of an odd-front 3 4 with a read and react mindset. Hill describes it as an “odd front 3-4” and a “read and react defense,” emphasizing discipline, proper fits and rallying to the football. Senior safety Aiden Polk (5-10, 180) is a tone-setter after recording 89 tackles, five tackles for loss and seven pass breakups, while senior linebacker James Trout (5-10, 200) controls the middle and senior corner Damien Almos (6-2, 175) brings length on the perimeter. Henry doubles as a disruptive defensive end, and junior tackle Landon Burgess (6-0, 280) and Jones at outside linebacker round out a front that should be stout against the run. With five defensive starters back and leaders like Henry and Polk, Kingston expects this unit to adjust quickly to its new pieces and complement the high-powered spread offense.
